Luis M. Souchet has over 30 years of experience in worldwide business development & management in Petroleum, Mining & Commodities industries and has lived in Vietnam, Chile, Mexico, Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Tanzania while developing the West African and North American markets.
As Director International Business and Chief Operating Officer for REACH Innovation Centers, Mr. Souchet leads international business development globally, directing new venture development and implementation.
As Business Development Director, Innovative Systems Network de Mexico, Mr. Souchet was responsible for new venture development and implementation, commercial operations, international negotiations, startup trading operations and relationship development with Mexico’s energy companies i.e. Pemex and Comision Federal de Electricidad. Mr. Souchet has also directed new venture development opportunities in Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) countries, the Americas, Asia and Middle East, and initiated numerous other transactions in energy, mining & commodities sectors. The West Africa initiative for energy infrastructure places an initial focus on fuel sourcing, transportation, marketing & distribution development as a strategic vehicle to investing in Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, Technology and Microgrid projects for ECOWAS countries.
Mr. Souchet created a joint venture with Naveria Armamex, crude oil & fuels transportation services company. Souchet served as mandate for a well-established Louisiana-based company with 49 years of experience in the oil industry, whose business included refining, processing, marketing, principal net purchasers, production, transportation, logistics and construction.
Mr. Souchet began in the entertainment industry early in his career as Producer & Event Production & Management, with over 25-years of experience in live-event production and sponsorship marketing, beginning with a vision of creating and expanding the Latin entertainment market in the United States.
Mr. Souchet recognized a need for Latin entertainment that truly reflected the culture, constantly breaking new ground. In 1971, when Souchet was a young teenager in Chicago, he put together the first Mobile Latin Disco, and was very active with the family entertainment business, Chicago’s First Latin Nightclub and event company that featured world Latin Entertainers including:

As co-founder and partner of Henry Cárdenas, Mr. Souchet produced Chicago’s first ever Pan-American Music Festival in 1985, and produced Fiestas Puertorriqueñas, Chicago’s largest Puerto Rican Community event, and Fiestas Patronales throughout the Island of Puerto Rico, Latin Grammys TV special and trade shows. His expertise and personal connection to the Latin community has been a guiding force for decades, evidenced by his passion for live music, sports, and sponsorship marketing in many countries
