The RU job-readiness program promotes employment stability and entrepreneurship by focusing on passion, experience, capability and communication by building soft skills. The RU incubator programs provide a pathway to training, certifications, and licensing, boosting confidence and independence. RU partners with public and private employers, corporations, and agencies using traditional and state-of-the-art technology and techniques for job placement and entrepreneurship opportunities.

EMT & PARAMEDIC EMPLOYMENT TRAINING

The RU Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Paramedic Training is concentrated on Emergency Management Services (EMS), Fire Safety curriculum and Covid -19 prevention and response. The program is structured to mentor, guide,  train and promote participation within the fire and EMS community. This FEMA and Nationally Certified EMT, Paramedic course prepares graduates for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam

SOLAR PV INSTALLATION & ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR TRAINING

RU Solar Photovoltaic (PV) installation and electrical inspector training is designed to teach how to install solar panels, modules, and components, including inverters, chargers, and battery banks for grid-tied and off-grid systems. Upon completion candidates will be pre qualified to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Installation Professionals Exam. Employment and Entrepreneurship opportunities are then immediately available to work towards becoming a Certified Solar Contractor, or Certified PV electrical inspector.
